National Museum of Iran, the biggest, oldest, and the most important museum of the country presents items from the Old Stone Age to the end of the Sassanid era and also the art of the Islamic era.
The museum was designed by the French architect and archeologist André Godard and performed by Iranian architects Abbasali Memar and Morad Tabrizi.
